What started out as a small community get together has blossomed into one of the top fall festivals in the southeast. The 38th Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival will be held Oct 17 – 19 in Niceville, Fl. Some of the biggest names in country music have graced the stages over the years and this year is no exception. Friday night, Oct 17th Nash FM 1055 presents Dustin Lynch. Saturday night, Oct. 18th is 4 time CMA “Female Vocalist of the Year” and 3 time ACM “Top Female Vocalist” Martina McBride and on Family Day, Oct 19th is the award winning Neal McCoy! Plus there is much more great entertainment throughout the entire weekend.
Also appearing from the blockbuster Disney movie, Frozen. Princess Ilsa, Princess Anna, and Olaf will be mingling with young festival goers on Saturday, the 18th and Sunday the 19th from 1-5 PM. They will be joined by their friend, Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean, and all will be available for photographs.
A memorial ceremony for Walt and Ann Spence has been rescheduled for 6:30 PM on the 18th.
And the Festival will offer a discount to folks coming from the Niceville/Ft. Walton football game. Present your ticket stub and get in for $9.00 instead of $15.00.
Lastly, festival patrons will be able to keep up with the FSU/Notre Dame game on the jumbo TV near the beer booth.
