7 year old, Kaden, has been donating food to the Rockwall Helping Hands food pantry for the past three years.
One in every four kids in North Texas (where Kaden lives) experiences food insecurity.
When he recently took a tour of the pantry, he notices a big problem. No KID FOOD that he would like, so he took matters into his own hands.
On February 2, 2017, Kaden launched Mac & Cheese and Pancakes – a non-profit to benefit hungry children in his community.
He created an Amazon Wish List so people can ship food directly to the non-profit’s headquarters – his family’s living room!
In the first 14 days, over 10,000 items have been donated, and Kaden continues to receive donations each day.
