This is 29 year old Lauren Puryear who lives in New Jersey. She’s a single mom who works with people with metal health issues but her heart is so big that she took a skill commonly known as “couponing” and turned it into something so positive we made it our Nash-piration today!!!
About four years ago she started a charity called The Love of Others that provides food to low-income families. Initially she would just purchase items in bulk from stores like Costco, then she realized she could get more for her money using coupons.
She has learned to turn $20 on her best days into lunch or dinner for 150 people!! As if that wasn’t enough she also takes her time to spread some encouraging words like “Believe in Yourself” on the paper lunch sacks she hands out.
She recently set a goal to feed 30,000 people by her 30th birthday next year.
